While it is officially spring in New England, the foliage here is still drab for photography at this adolescent time of the season. As we await flowers and green leaves, this is a great time to photograph the seacoast. With Maine, Massachusetts and Rhode Island in easy reach, there's plenty of coastal photography to be had in these parts.
This image was made earlier this week on the Narragansett coast near Point Judith, Rhode Island. In April, the rising sun lines up perfectly in the center of the rocks in this little cove. And in early spring, the area also happens to be free of tourists.
